TEACHER WORKSHOPS
CAM Raleigh Teacher Workshops offer educators opportunities to deepen their understanding of museum exhibitions while developing lesson plans and curricular resources for their students and school communities. Workshops are offered in connection with every major museum exhibition.
Workshop Goals:
● Integrate contemporary art and design learning into your classroom
● Strategies for cross-curricular project planning
● Strategies for teaching creative thinking/ critical thinking/ design thinking
● Reinforce “21st Century Learning Skills”
● Reinvigorate educators with new ideas for project-based learning
● Provide hands-on “making” experiences for teachers utilizing low cost everyday materials
