CAM Conversations: Art Matters, Making Space & Creating Place is a new collaboration between CAM Raleigh and Nicole Furnace, Founder and Principal of Roots Consulting, of Durham North Carolina. Quarterly programming will include a series of panel – based conversations centered on the topics of racial equity in the arts – and the challenges, limitations, triumphs and future ally ship needed to foster inclusivity in the arts. This is an interactive and engaging series of conversations in which panelists will have an opportunity to speak on topics and share with guests their experience in the art world and offer guidance on inclusion. This will be a facilitated discussion with Q&A hosted by Nicole Furnace of ROOTS, with guest panelist Natasha Powell Walker, CAM Board Member, and 2 additional guests per panel.
