Artist Talk: Julie Anne Greenberg & Irisol Gonzalez
Join North Carolina-based artists Julie Anne Greenberg & Irisol Gonzalez on Sunday, June 16 at 3 PM for a demonstration and walk-through of their work in the closing weekend of the Raleigh Fine Arts Society: “North Carolina Artists Exhibition 2019.” Julie and Irisol will detail their unique processes as well as tell us the stories behind their pieces on view at CAM.

“Julie is from New Jersey and lives in Raleigh. She graduated with a BFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple and an MFA from The Ohio State University. She is an assistant professor at Wake Technical Community College. Julie exhibits locally and nationally and is included in public and private collections. Her work was recently acquired by the US Department of State Art Bank Program in Washington, DC, and The Print Center in Philadelphia”.
“Irisol currently lives and works as a professional artist in Charlotte. She graduated with a BA in psychology and political science from Appalachian State University. Her work scrutinizes identity politics and depicts her experience as a Latina raised in the United States. She has traveled to Mexico and Central America to study Latin American Culture and how its roots shape the Hispanic identity in the United States. Irisol was selected for the Art Pop Street Gallery Charlotte Class of 2019 and received a HUG grant from Creative Mornings Charlotte to complete her Abstract Self-Portrait piece in 2018″
