CAM Urban Sketching Group

Join CAM’s Urban Sketching Group for another great outing on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2pm. Explore downtown, have fun with new friends and make art!

Free admission. All levels are welcome, so bring a friend and we’ll sketch this city. CAM’s Urban Sketching Group meets at CAM Raleigh on the second Saturday of every month. The group meets in the lobby and heads out at 2pm, so please be prompt. Please bring your portable art supplies and wear walking shoes. Participants must be 18+ unless accompanied by adult. Event occurs monthly on the second Saturday of each month.

CAM Raleigh urban sketching is a group dedicated to sketching from direct observation in the Warehouse District. With so many changes happening around CAM Raleigh at lightning speed, we have spent the better part of many Saturday afternoons with a sketchbook in hand capturing the stories and beauty of the changing landscape. During the sessions we often draw each other in action. Our mediums range from pencil, pen, pastels, watercolor, mud, coffee, or whatever unique medium we can think of. We are a regional chapter of the international Urban Sketching community.
