Starting out playing neighborhood games as kids, Monica and Quincy both aspire to make it big in basketball. Each follow their path and try not to let the unpredictabilities of life get in the way, all the while growing in their feelings for each other, but never quite finding it to be the right time to be together. But this is no schmaltzy drama – it feels so lived-in, you’ve probably had these own conversations with loved ones. Also there is no denying how great it is to have more focus on a woman’s story in the sports world.
