Architecture Skill Building: Drawing Workshop
March 2, 2013 / 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. / $50
with instructor Rebecca Necessary (professional architectural designer and adjunct Instructor of Architecture at NC State College of Design)
Open to high school students, grades 9-12
In this skill-building workshop, students will learn the basics of architectural drawing, utilizing the tools and techniques used by professional architects. This is an excellent workshop for students interested in adding architectural drawings to their college admissions portfolio.
This workshop is an excellent opportunity in continuing studies for those who took the Architectural Drawing workshop with Patricia Morgado in Fall of 2012. Additionally, this workshop will be planned in conjunction with the Architecture Skill Building: Drawing Workshop with Rob Allen on March 16. Students who register for both will be able to connect and continue their learning between workshops, so we are offering a 10% off discount for students who register for both at once. We encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity to take your knowledge and experience with architecture further!
Rebecca Necessary is a Project Designer at Vines Architecture in Raleigh and an Adjunct Faculty Member at NCSU’s College of Design, where she regularly teaches undergraduate architecture studios. She earned her Master of Architecture from NC State in 2007 and has since worked with local firms designing projects of varying scales and types. Rebecca has taught several workshops and summer studios at CAM Raleigh, including the Spaces + Places Summer Studio.
Registration for this Workshop is now CLOSED. Thank you for your interest!
At this time we are only able to accept payment by check. Once you have registered online, you may mail your check for the amount listed above (made out to NCSU) to:
