November First Friday

CAM Raleigh’s November First Friday is sponsored by Land Rover Cary who will be on-site to introduce the all-new Range Rover Evoque. Upon entering CAM Raleigh,visitors may enjoy a complimentary wine tasting provided by The Wine Feed courtesy of Land Rover Cary.

Bring your family and friends to view CAM Raleigh’s newest feature exhibition Deep Surface: Contemporary Ornament and Pattern and participate in a new hands-on creation station project in the classroom. Local DJ LoganTV will be on site to provide a soundtrack to visitors museum experience while special artist projects are underway in the Independent Weekly Gallery. Plus, a cash bar will get visitors moving.

In the Museum Galleries: Open until 10:00 p.m.

The Independent Weekly Gallery will be open with a special preview project by artists featured in our next emerging artist series exhibition ID:ENTITY Self: Perception + Reality.

The Independent Weekly Gallery will also feature the 1,000 Faces: A Community Portrait project by local photographer Tony Pearce. Museum visitors can have their portrait taken as part of this exciting project documenting the many faces of Raleigh.

Get Creative In the Classroom: 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Drop by our classroom for our new hands-on creation station project, Treasure Tins, inspired by works featured in Deep Surface. All materials and instruction supplied by CAM Raleigh are free with admission.

Join CAM Raleigh at First Friday and get in free with a friend. Memberships start at $25.
General Museum Admission:
General Museum admission is $5. CAM Raleigh members, children 10 and under, members of NARM and Mod/Co, and NC State students, staff and faculty are admitted free.
