Triangle area families are invited to CAM Raleigh for an afternoon exploring Andy Hall’s FORM SPECIAL. Marbles Kids Museum has partnered with CAM staff on a variety of fun solar-themed activities. A special family-friendly exhibitions tour will take place at 2:00 p.m.

Family Sunday activities are free with admission. CAM Raleigh members and children 10 and under are granted free admission.

  • Button Bouquet Creation Station open in the street gallery from 12:00–3:00 p.m.
  • Exhibition Tour at 2:00 p.m. an all-ages tour led by a CAM Raleigh Gallery Attendant

CAM You Be Mine? 

Gather your family and join your friends at CAM Raleigh for an afternoon of family-friendly fun at your new museum for contemporary art and design. Tour our new feature exhibition, Born Digital and interact with Student Docents from Exploris Middle School. Visit the creation station for hands-on activities and other fun surprises.

Family Sunday activities are free with $5 museum admission. Admission is free for children 10 and under, CAM Raleigh Members and NC State University students, faculty and staff.

It’s Ornamental Family Sunday

Triangle area families are invited to a special holiday-themed afternoon of hands-on activities, special guests from Carolina Ballet's Nutcracker cast, and other fun surprises.

A unique scavenger hunt activity will lead young families through museum exhibitions by seeking out a set of hiding candies. Families that successfully complete the See-n-Find exhibition activity will be entered in a raffle to win a set of 4 Nutcracker tickets courtesy of Carolina Ballet.

Hands-on activities include ornament-making, snowflake mobiles and other festive projects aimed at stimulating your creativity and holiday spirit.

Family-Friendly Museum Tour at 2:00 p.m.
Experience CAM Raleigh's newest feature exhibition Deep Surface: Contemporary Ornament and Pattern in the main gallery, street gallery and media lab. The Independent Weekly Gallery features CAM Raleigh's newest installment of the emerging artist series with a new media interactive exhibition ID:ENTITY Self: Perception + Reality.

1:30—2:00 p.m. Pet Costume Contest in the Courtyard
