Creative Mornings: Luke Buchanan

Luke Buchanan is an artist and designer living and working in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since graduating from the NCSU School of Architecture in 2002 Buchanan has been actively pursuing painting. In his work Buchanan combines photographs, found objects, drawing and collected miscellany in collaged paintings focused on abandoned spaces. In 2010 Buchanan was featured in New American Paintings issue #88. Recently he has found himself engaging more with the places he is drawn to through large scale murals and sign restoration.
