409 W. Martin St., Raleigh, 27603

The CAM Raleigh Urban Drawing Group is a monthly group intended for all skill levels interested in exercising, exploring or expanding their drawing skills. The Urban Drawing Group meets inside of CAM Raleigh and then enters the urban settings surrounding the museum in the Warehouse District, and sometimes further into downtown Raleigh. Pausing at inspiring vistas, ignored buildings, curious landscapes, or forgotten details, the goal of the Urban Drawing group is to take time to study our surroundings and exercise our dormant drawing skills. All media that can pack into a pocket, backpack, or purse are encouraged and participants are expected to bring their own supplies.

Participation in each monthly session is just $5 (cost of museum admission), free for CAM Raleigh members and NC State College of Design faculty, staff and students. All participants must check-in at the CAM Raleigh front desk upon arrival.

*The group will depart CAM Raleigh shortly after 2:00 p.m., please arrive early so you have time to check in.

Participants must be 18+.
