Fright at the Museum: A Halloween Party presented by New Raleigh and hosted by CAM/now announces entertainment line-up.

CAM Raleigh is being invaded! Bring your creativity to life for Raleigh's newest and biggest Halloween bash: Fright at the Museum. This inaugural Halloween event will be held on Saturday, October 29 at CAM Raleigh from 8-11pm, presented by New Raleigh, Raleigh's obsessive culture guide, and hosted by CAM/now, CAM Raleigh’s young professionals affiliate group. Come to downtown Raleigh’s warehouse district for a night of: dancing, music by local favorite DJs - Jon Yu, Yes! Sputnik, Discovery's Nixxed and Hidden Cat, over-the-top photo booth, great local food provided by some of Raleigh’s best restaurants, pop-up dance performances by Black Irish, Graffiti art work by Mathew Curran, Derek Toomes, Sean Kernick and friends, Horror Films by Rob Underhill, video art projections by Yuxtapongo, fire and aerial performances from Phoenix Rising productions, art installation by Ron Liberti and more. Set in downtown Raleigh's coolest and newest museum space surrounded by cutting-edge art, both inside and outside. This is the party you should be SCARED to miss. The madness starts at 8pm (VIP pre-party starts at 7pm).
Fright at the Museum will also be host to Raleigh’s most unique Halloween costume contest. This is the place to show off your most creative get-ups. Our panel of celebrity judges (Aly and Beth Khalifa of Design Box and SPARKcon; and the very talented Toola) will select winners from these five costume categories: Wicked Funny, Least Likely to Take Home to Mom, Best Group/Couple, Most Creative and Wild Card (judges choice). Prizes for costume winners (besides ultimate bragging
rights) will be hand-made one-of-a-kind trophies from the very talented artists: Leo Gaev & Leigh Suggs, Christian Karkow, Sarah Powers, Scott Reeder and Ian Pause.
Tickets are just $15 for CAM/now members, $25 for CAM Raleigh museum members and $30 for non-members. Must be 21 and up to attend. Both CAM/now and CAM Raleigh members are also invited to attend the exclusive VIP pre-party event (from 7-8pm) for free drinks and other fun surprises.
