CAM Raleigh is about reflecting our culture and presenting what is new and fresh. Outgoing Chairwoman Carson Brice commented, “I have worked closely and tirelessly since I first joined the museum board in 1998. CAM Raleigh means the world to me and it has been a pleasure opening the doors to my community. Both Allen and Marjorie are dedicated members with a broad understanding of the museum’s strengths and challenges. Allen is superbly qualified to lead the Contemporary Art Foundation’s efforts to support the museum’s next level of sustainability. Since Marjorie first joined the Board she has been an enthusiastic and deeply involved member. She and Allen will make a perfect team.”
“It has been a pleasure working with Carson over the years and she truly was an integral part of CAM Raleigh’s presence and successful opening within our community. Her determined efforts to see this museum come to life cannot be overstated.
